Use 10g titanium dioxide for every 250g pettinice or butter icing

Wait 30 min after mixing and check color, add more if required

Black:

Add brown and black coloring gel or powder to make a pure black

For Black butter icing: start with a chocolate butter icing first then add black concentrated powder or gel, 10 g per kg of icing.

Wait 30-60 min to allow the pigments to dissolve in the fat of the butter icing, mixed again and check color, add more if required.

Rose red:

Red Is probably the worst color to mix , because it can go wrong in so many ways, but patience is the key so plan ahead and prepare your red icing a few days ahead.
